Компания Research in Motion изначально специализировалась на устройствах для передачи текста и начинала в 1984 году с пейджеров.
В 1997 году компания представила устройства под брендом Blackberry – они должны были кроме прежних задач справляться и с корпоративной почтой. Cовокупность мелких кнопок устройства визуально напоминало ягоду, поэтому остановились на названии Blackberry.
В 2000 году появился первый телефон под этой маркой, а в 2004 году – первый телефон с цветным экраном. Герой нашего мини-обзора – Blackberry 7100t – как раз и есть этим первым “цветным” Blackberry с bluetooth.
Телефон интересен, но субъективно с первого разу меню не обладает ясностью – например мне не удалось быстро найти мелодии звонка и браузер. Визуально – он выглядит непревзойденно для 2004 года, пластик корпуса очень качественен, экран тоже неплох для своих лет. Наличие bluetooth – однозначный плюс в удобстве ежедневного использования.
Research in Motion Company originally specialized in text-to-speech devices and began in 1984 with pagers.
In 1997, the company introduced devices under the Blackberry brand – in addition to the previous tasks, they had to cope with corporate mail. The set of small buttons on the device visually resembled a berry, so we settled on the name Blackberry.
In 2000, the first phone under this brand appeared, and in 2004 – the first phone with a color screen. The hero of our mini-review – Blackberry 7100t – is exactly this first “color” Blackberry with bluetooth.
The phone is interesting, but subjectively from the first time the menu is not clear – for example, I was unable to quickly find ringtones and browser. Visually – it looks unbeatable for 2004, the plastic of the case is very high quality, the screen is also not bad for its age. The presence of bluetooth is a definite plus in the convenience of daily use.
